Interiors/Exteriors | Carmelized Sugar Solarium

via here

Solarium is a functioning greenhouse made by artist William Lamson. To achieve this transcendent effect, Lamson heated panels of carmelized sugar  at different temperatures to create different colors. The panels are then sealed off. The solarium is used to grow a small number of  plants, and also serves as a meditation space.
