Surfaces collide and reflect in the newest work from print studio, Pattern People. Inspired by parquetry, natural textures and fibers are inlaid within geometric compositions creating intricate, layered imagery. Opposites attract as soft knits gain structure, while marble and wood take on a quilt-like effect.

We had an opening for the show Sunday night and it was a smashing good time!  Come by Stumptown on Belmont to check out these pieces in person. The show is up until the end of January.

Wallpaper, bedding, artwork and more were all part of our creation for the recent Content event hosted by the Ace Hotel in Portland. Kicking off fashion week, Content features the work of creatives in the fashion industry. Each designer is given a room to decorate with their wares which is then on display for the night of the event. With only two hours to decorate, we worked fast and furious to create our one-of-a-kind room. But, don’t let it fool you. It’s actually a miniature diorama!

Founded by the incredible Aimee Lagos and Christiana Coop, Hygge & West creates products for the home. So when they asked us to collaborate on a line of wallpaper, we were thrilled. We’re honored to have one of our designs appear as wallpaper at the new Ric Pipino/Wella salon, Pipino 57, in New York City. With interior design by Brooklyn firm, Rawlins Calderone Design, this up-town beauty spot is sure to draw the crowds with its opulent multi-leveled environment featuring a range of hair and skin treatments.

As some of you know, I am obsessed by lace, weaving, lattices, links, webs, and circular forms.  These pieces were inspired by crochet and lace, but I let my natural drawing style dictate where the drawings went.  They each took a few days to make. The recently released AW10 collection for Stussy’s womens line features one of our prints designed by contributor Alexis Hartman. Once again, the Stussy team creates a great wearable collection to get us through the winter months.
