Less than five years after graduating from university, Richard Sweeney has established quite a following with his distinctive paper sculptures. Although formally trained in wood, metal, glass and ceramics, Richard’s unusual paper creations have captured the public’s imagination with displays throughout Europe including Somerset House, The Design Museum and Selfridges in London. His work has an organic quality, using familiar shapes and forms to produce something beautifully delicate yet equally robust.
