The design season is now upon us with some fantastic exhibitions and design festivals set to show over the next few weeks worldwide. Although fairly small in exposure, the Sydney festival is a hive of activity during the start of August showcasing exciting Australian design not usually seen in this part of the world. Keen on striking architecture, futuristic urbanisation and ecological design, Sydney gives great insight into another facet of design – innovation over commercial.
