Jiyong Lee’s glass shapes represent the building blocks of life, and are inspired by cell division and growth. The translucent nature of glass creates a perfect medium for clarity and brightness, but also leaves a lot of room for mystery and a sense of the unknown. These blocks almost remind me of the cubed food series we wrote about a while back.
